The recent and not so recent days…

I know I haven’t blogged in long time so I wanted to share some activities we have done with the boys lately. A couple of these picture collages are really old but I still thought you’d enjoy looking at the pictures to see how busy the boys have been.

Back in January we took the boys to Wonderworks where the fun never ends. Aunt Buppy also joined in on the fun. It’s just sad that it has taken this long to blog. The highlight of the wonderworks trip was definitely the huge bubble exibit.

So one day before the lice broke out and we had to shave the kids heads, James got a bright idea. His idea was to buy toddlers activities that required paint. Of course as soon we he got it home the boys wanted to paint, paint, paint. The problem was the paint didn’t stay on the wooden blocks alone but got all over themselves too.

Then came hot, hot weather in February. So all the girls and James came up with the idea that swimming would be fun. It was like 85 degrees one day and they all suited up and attempted to jump in FREEZING sub zero water. Asher quickly got out and put on his poochie lip and was very disappointed he couldn’t swim. Jordan just sat on the side and put his feet in as usual because he’s my little frady cat. Anyway it was fun.

Our most recent activity has been watching Jordan play his first year of t-ball. Let’s just say it has been a funny adventure. Uncle Caleb and Aunt Buppy come to all the games and also cheer Jordan on. On that same note a couple of games ago Jordan informed all of us that he didn’t like us cheering for him because it “emmarrassed” him. What is that all about? So every game we only say “go Jordan” on his very last bat. Anyway this has been a fun weekend family event and usually after we always get ice cream. How much more fun can a person have?

Busy but awesome weekend

I know I havn’t written on my blog in a long time but I have been very preoccupied with a very busy weekend. We had our debut for Elisabeth Project and it was so amazing.  We had so many people come up to our table and either told us that they had been abused in their life or had been effected by abuse in some way. It was also cool because we spoke at a public school’s sexual abuse awareness rally and was still able to share that forgiving is the only way to have real freedom and how God can give you that freedom. Also 12 left had a concert and was able to share their christian lyrics with the audience. Our schools have gotten so diluted that you cannot even share Jesus’ name so it was neat how we were able to do that this last weekend. It was a great experience!
