Ok so it will now go down in history that I have had the first parrot customers. Today I recieved a phone call from a lady and the call began like this… “Hi I know that this is really weird but I wanted to buy quite a few of your items for my parrots.” I thought she said parents so I told her it wasn’t weird at all and began to take her order. I thought that she was buying the toys for her kids to keep at her parent’s house.
Then the phone call took a twist. We got to the part about the mega block set she wanted to purchase. She said that she really wanted these mega blocks and she would put holes in the blocks so her parrots (I still was thinking parents) could pick the blocks up with their beaks. At this time I was a little confused but kept taking the order trying not to be too weird. Then she said something about her son buying cages then I KNEW something wasn’t right lol. Only I would be so slow not to pick up on it sooner. HAHA!!! Anyway to make a long story short she bought $70 worth of my toys for her 4 talking parrots. How cool is that? THE END.

Ok so I guess the awesome thing about being in the business I am is that I can get some awesome stuff for my kids as well as for my business. This will definitely be staying in our family until Gracie outgrows it. I got this from a trade today and am SOOOOOOO happy to have it. That way I know where she is and I know she is not stuffing every little thing in her mouth. Wee Cycle you’ve done it again hehe.
Gracie loved it so much she wouldn’t even look up at the camera!

So I know it has been a ridiculous amount of time since I have blogged but I do have an excuse I guess. I have recently within the last 3 weeks started a new business and have been so swamped with running it and home schooling at the same time. We have had so many things happen this month and I have a lot to blog about so keep checking back in the next few days and I’ll try to blog about 3 new blogs per day until I get caught back up. So my business is so much fun for me and I am making a lot of money which has helped us catch up since we were without a job for so long. God has taken such good care of us and I have had an extremely good week with wee cycle. For those of you who are reading and thinking what in the heck is wee cycle I will explain how I got started doing it and what it is.
A couple of weeks ago I was doing my regular shopping in goodwill and noticed a sit and stand LX stroller for $10 but obviously needed a good cleaning. I bought it, washed everything down lysoled it and got it ready to sell on craigslist. I sold it for $40 and made a $30 profit. I happened to mention that little story to mom and she said “why don’t you make a business out of fixing up stuff you find for cheap and start a little business.” I thought haha yeah right. That was the weekend I was so excited because we were headed to Orlando to go to seaworld and disney and didn’t really think about it again until we got home. When we did arrive home I found about 6 big items totaling about $15 and profited about $65. I then really began to think how I could open my own gently used baby store out of my home. I offer delivery and 1 bi weekly baby sale. It’s amazing how much stuff I have sold in these last 3 weeks. Also someone gave me a HUGE donation a couple of days ago and i can make 100% profit off of that.
I have enjoyed meeting so many cool people and find it a a good way to minister to people by giving them a good deal on stuff. Also if someone can’t afford something I always am willing to help them out as well. God has blessed me so why not help others.
