Auntie Abi and Uncle Seth have been visiting and helping out around the house lately to get us moved in before baby Grace arrives in about 7 weeks. Woohoo but who’s counting? ME. Ok so we have been trying to find some free things to do and have been on 2 fun adventures the last couple of days. A picnic in the park and swimming at the indoor heated pool at the equestrian center. You know I have to highlight all the fun with my picture collages so here we go….
The kids had so much fun playing in the park and running around. There’s nothing that beats some publix fried chicken and in store brand soda. Yummy!

A couple of months ago we took all the kids strawberry pickin’ but Jordan definitely had more fun than anyone else did. Afterwards we made strawberry smoothies that were sooo good. Here are some pictures from the strawberry field…

So we are on alert here in Jacksonville and getting ready for a possible hurricane. It is currently weakening so hopefully we’ll just have alot of rain and be ok. We went to winn-dixie and stocked up on all the essentials which included lots and lots of junk food. We might lose power so why not be prepared with all kinds of food you do not have to cook? Yummy another excuse for eating junk. Jordan is prepared with his flashlight and said “mom we’re ready for the storm, now let’s eat.”

So I finally got the pictures we took this weekend from Bethany. She and I took the kids to magic kingdom and couple weeks ago. The kids loved it but wow it was alot of work taking 2 toddlers to disney. Anyway we enjoyed it!

Ok I know that is a really strange post but today as soon as we got home from swimming at the Oakleaf pool Jordan was banging and banging on the bathroom door when I was in the shower. I got out and was like WHAT Jordan? He said Mommy I’ve been swimming and swimming and but butt is soooooooooooooo hungry. I just starting laughing so hard. He also said mom everything is hungry. My butt, my feets, my fingers AND my tummy. We also went to St. Augustine yesterday and had alot of fun. Jordan even got a picture with the Michael Jordan wax dude. I guess all of these activities is making Jordan hungry.

Alrighty I am going to attempt to blog about our trip thus far. Maybe I’ll have more luck trying this time. Ok we began our trip on Monday morning and stopped about 8:30 pm in Tennessee, ate some dinner and put the boys down to have a good nights sleep so we could get up and get down the road to Indiana.
Then we made it to Indiana about 4 pm which gave James enough time to study and get ready for his first class that began yesterday morning. He just texted me and said that he passed the Old Testament section. Woohoo that is such exciting news. He is working on New Testament today. While he was in his classes the boys and I went to the playground and to the zoo. But before we could go out we had to take a bath and brush our snags.
Then we were off to the park…
Then after that I had two very tired little boys that needed some ice cream according to Jordan. So i put dairy queen into the GPS system and off we went to get a blizzard.
Then after that we had a nap, and helped our Daddy study. Below is James telling Jordan all the Old Testament books, who wrote it and the year it was written. Wow!
After dropping our Daddy off to his class we were off to the zoo…
Then after we fed the giraffes the zookeeper came by and told us not to feed the giraffes. Woops why can’t they eat out of our hands since they were already eating the tree branches? Well who knows but at least we got some pictures first! After the zoo we came home and crashed!

So I just spent about an hour making a photo blog and it got all messed up so I guess you’ll have to just be happy with a slideshow. Dang that makes me so mad!!!!! OMG!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH I really hate this dumb computer it just erased all of my slideshow too. Basically I’m so frustrated and am going to bed!
GPS

Wow if we hadn’t borrowed Tj’s GPS system only God knows where the boys and I would have ended up when we went out “exploring” today. I put in parks and we were on our way. We found this one park called “kids kingdom” and wow it was the biggest park I have ever seen! It kept the kids busy from the time we dropped James off for his class until now. (we’re about to go pick him up for lunch) It was a castle with little motorcycles, cars, boats. tire swings, a house, police station and much, much more. They were in grey-ground heaven. So back to the GPS system. This thing is awesome! It tells you when to stop, how many feet until you need to make a turn and what side of the road to turn on. I need one of these just to get around Jax with my scary sense of direction. Stay tuned because the boys and I are going to the zoo this afternoon so I’ll post pictures from this morning and the zoo later. Oh yeah it’s COLD here brrrrr!
Stuck in the Slide

Ok I know your imagination must be going wild on how an individual could get stuck on a slide but it can happen and it did. Hey I was trying to be the good mom but taking my kids to the park and playing with them. Jordan said “mommy how bout you go down the slide with me and Asher”. Well I went down the first 2 slides with ease then came the enclosed toddler slide. Ok maybe it wasn’t a toddler slide maybe it was just a regular sized one. Well somehow my pants got stuck on something and I was stuck. My kids were just looking at me and laughing. I was laughing too because I didn’t know how to get out of the predicament I had gotten myself into. Anyway finally I went down and everything was fine. Teresa you had a chance to witness this event but no you and Daive decided not to partake in such fun. Anyway what a fun day at the park.
