The Not So Happy Photo Taking Experience

I obviously have not taken the boys to get their pictures taken in a very long time. I think Asher was about 8 or 9 months old last time i did that, and he was a much happier kid back then. Let’s just say he wanted nothing whatsoever to do with getting his picture taken WITH Jordan. He was perfectly fine getting it taken by himself but when it was time to have their picture taken TOGETHER he would have no part in it.

This is why we had a problem: I brought the little drums for Asher and the little guitar for Jordan. I thought if they had something they liked in the portrait studio then they would be happy and smile etc. Well that simply was NOT the case. They both wanted the drums. So off I went to the toy section and bought some more drum sticks. That way everyone would be happy! After that we got some really cute shots but only one with both of them together.

I will always look at those pictures and laugh because it is just no fun taking the kids to get their pictures taken without help. I thought ooooh I have about 3 hours until Asher’s nap, some portrait coupons, new little outfits I got on sale for $5 a piece. I thought it was a great time to get them taken. Next time I really will re-think it and schedule it when James is off work. Whew it was alot of work. But in the end she took some cute shots and I will distribute them as soon as I get them back.

GrEaT DeAl!!

Well since I AM addicted to Target, I have to let everyone know about my great deals I got there a few days ago. I got 2 awesome strollers for 12.78 and 14.98. Wow I love deals like that. They were both originally 49.99. The boys can now ride in style!
