We have discovered that Jordan is truely a musician in observing that he plays how he is feeling haha. Today as James and I were loading all of James’s drum equipment into the car as he was headed out for work we heard a little tune coming from Jordan. Here’s how the song went:
I’m so mad now because mommy spanked me with the drumstick I’m so mad, I’m so mad!
It was kinda funny because he was drumming on his little snare drum that he had struggled to get on top of the coffee table. (the table was his stage) Anyway in my defense I barely swatted him with the drum stick. It was the closest thing to a paddle I could find hehe. Also the reason he got popped is because he and Asher had filled James’s bass drum with about 60 little toys through the microphone hole in the drum. Wow that was alot of work digging all those toys out of the little hole. Anyway I thought it was funny.
Mean Music

This last Sunday I was in Jordan and Asher’s sunday school class getting ready for the morning. I put on some preschool music and was getting my lesson ready for the little ones. Jordan came up and tugged on me and said “Mommy I don’t want to hear this music I want to hear the “mean” music so I can dance to it. I want the kind like Daddy plays” Well I guess to a little kid that’s mean music compared to the little nursery rhyme type. Haha he’s so cute. He’s always got something new to make me laugh.

This last weekend Code Red youth (FIBC) teamed up with Lake Asbury Baptist youth group and had an awesome time! We want to thank Mrs. Kello Jo for stepping up to the plate and pulling an all-nighter with the girls since Jordan got strep that day. Mr. Mark and Mrs. Kelly also hosted a bonfire and the best game of underground church EVER. (so I heard cause I missed it) Thank you for your willingness to serve, you’re awesome. I heard it was an awesome weekend and that kids grew in their relationship to God while enjoying food, games, praise and worship along with challenging sessions. I did take the boys for the last couple of hours and below is a youtube video of Jordan playing drums. What mad skills!
