So as everyone knows I have a used baby store out of my home called Wee Cycle. When the kids get tired of their stuff I take pictures of it and put it on my website to be sold. I love it because kids get tired of stuff and want to move on but what to do with the stuff has always been a delimma. So I’m so excited because now other kids can enjoy my kids’ stuff instead of throwing it away. So cool! So Jordan was looking over my shoulder today and I had taken pictures of their huge 6 wheeler CAT powerwheels because that was the next thing to say bye-bye. He got right in my face, pointed his little finger at me and said “Oh no mom you are in BIG trouble.” I wasn’t paying much attention and kept doing my thing. (I was in my zone) Anyway he said “Mom I’m not proud of you because you’re selling mine and Asher’s big dump truck and that is NOT ok.” He ran off mad but got over it because I told him for Christmas that Santa might bring 2 Kawasakis to them. He said “Ok now I’m proud, sell it.” LOL this kid cracks me up. The end.

I know this might be a little strange but I absolutely have to blog about this. Before I begin I will have to let you know something about the little Desuyo boys. Ever since they were old enough to talk Daddy has taught them to call their little manhood a “birdie”. So lastnight Jordan had a little cut on his and wanted some medicine on it. I put some on there and then this morning asked how it felt. He said “well mom it hurt this morning but it’s ok cause I fixed it.” I asked him how he fixed it and he proceded to tell me that he put a handy manny bandaid on it and it was all better. He said “don’t worry mom I just wrapped it around so I can still go potty.” And guess what mom? “It didn’t even hurt to put it on.” (little does he know it’s not the putting on that causes the agony) I called Lola and asked her how I could get this off without causing damage and after we laughed she said that baking soda and water will take out the adhesive on the bandaid. So if anyone has a little boy that took his injury into his own hands you will now know how to get the bandaid off. I’m sure you are smarter now after reading my blog. Feel blessed!

Those were some of the noises James heard as he was on daddy duty while I was working for Michele this afternoon. I got a text message while I was working that James had to open the sliding door to air out the house. At that moment I knew it couldn’t be good. All the drama began when Jordan asked James if he could make himself a popcorn snack. James didn’t have a problem with that and got up and put 2 minutes 15 seconds on the microwave. When James turned around to make Gracie her bottle Jordan decided that he would clear James’s time and put his own time. So James was feeding the baby which takes about 20 min. and started smelling something awful. He got up and noticed that Jordan set the microwave to 2o minutes. James said he’s not really sure how long it cooked for (which is scary). Needless to say Jordan blew up the microwave and James had to take it outside it smelled so bad. We are so glad the microwave didn’t start a fire. Now that would have been bad.
The attack of the killer Lizard

Alrighty so a couple a nights ago James was mowing the grass and the boys wanted to sit out on the back patio and eat a snack and watch James do the yard. So I opened the door and got the boys all set up with their snack and a drink and in the meantime I turned around and a lizard had run into the house. I chased it to try to catch it but pregnant people are not very fast and I let the lizard stay in the house because he had hidden some where by the time I tried to get him. Ok now fast forward two days…the boys were watching something and I was sitting on the couch. Jordan was standing up and Asher was sitting next to me. All of a sudden I hear a blood-curding scream and I jumped up and thought I would see a snake or something. It was the lizard from the other day and it was camped out on Jordan’s foot. Jordan shook his foot hard and the killer lizard fell off and he climbed up the coffee table and jumped into my arms in the matter of about 0.2 seconds. (without looking to see if I would catch him, he was still screaming.) I explained to him that lizards are harmless and wouldn’t hurt him but he didn’t believe me. I even told him that when I was a little girl we would catch them and Lola would hang them on her ear like an earring. He just laughed. (I kinda forgot to tell him the time that Aunt Buppy got bitten on the lip one time by one.) I’m sure it was better that he didn’t know that little detail haha.
p.s. I think the lizard was petrified and just sat on the carpet without moving until I got a cup and scooped him up and threw him outside. Jordan was just sooooo happy to see that the lizard was outside where he belonged.
T-ball and Tears

Well today was Jordan’s 1st ever T-ball game. He had so much fun marching with his team on the field as they called each of the kids by name as they came out with their teams. ( although they couldn’t pronounce Desuyo) We then had our team pictures and I bought Jordan a hot dog and chips for lunch. He was so excited to be in his baseball uniform and ready for the big game. As he was finishing his lunch on the bench he began to sob uncontrollably and tears were flying everywhere. I asked him why he was so upset and he said “mom there’s just too many people watching me and I just can’t do it. AND my dad is not here to see me. I informed him his dad was on his way and to be patient until his dad got there with Asher and the girls. I finally convinced him to go practice with his team and he agreed as long as I went with him on the field. (I’m sure it was interesting to see a huge, preggo mom tossing the ball with all the coaches on the field) As soon as James got there he took over and Jordan was ready to play. He was the 2nd batter and hit the ball and ran to the right base. He had quite a cheering squad the consisted of me, James, 3 girls from our home, Uncle Caleb, Laurel, Auntie Buppy and Kuya TJ. When we cheered for him he would look over and grin with a big smile. He has definitely made some improvements from his first practice although when he got thirsty during the 1st inning today he just leisurly walked off the field and told us he was thirsty and needed his gatorade haha I was cracking up. Here are some pictures from the game and I will add some video footage a little later.

Ok so the other day I took Jordan with me on an errand I had to run to pick up one of the girls’ birth certificates. When we arrived Jordan being very talkative walks up to the office manager and says hi I’m Jordan what’s your name? The lady gave him her name and then noticed that he had a Florida Gator shirt on. She said oh wow do you like the gators? Jordan replied yes then she said that’s so cool because I graduated from there. She then asked Jordan if when he grew up would he go to school there? He said no I’m not going to go there I’m going to go to a REAL school. The lady busted out laughing and I just stood there with her laughing. I know that’s not really what he meant but it’s what came out and it was pretty funny. It’s so amazing what kids come up with. Go Gators!
The top 5 things to help Jordan become a T-ball star

1. To keep his glove on at all times and not fling it in the air.
2. When he hits the ball to run to first base NOT the pitcher’s mound
3. Always look at the one batting NOT the trees completely behind him.
4. Walking to mom and dad and talking to them through the gate (letting them know he was hungry and wanted to go to McDonalds) in the middle of the practice probably isn’t acceptable.
5. Picking his nose instead of catching the ball doesn’t get anyone out.
If Jordan can master these 5 easy steps he will be a very successful Oriole team member.

So tonight one of the girls had made homemade mac and cheese, pork chops and corn along with oranges and grapes. Everyone had enjoyed the meal and was finishing up eating all the food. Jordan was being so good at the table by asking people to pass him the food so he could serve himself. When someone passed him the mandarin oranges he pretty much filled his plate up serving himself the rest of the oranges. He thought he was a big boy and was smiling from ear to ear making everyone say awww good job Jordan for serving yourself without making a mess. Then he choked on an orange and was coughing and coughing. I was trying to let him cough it out because as long as he’s coughing he’s breathing. Then something flew out of his mouth and Jordan very matter of fact said OH wow guys it’s out. Everyone at the table just bursted out laughing. It was so hilarious!!!!
