I’m so proud of myself. I’ve been looking for a dress for Gracie for Aunt Buppy’s wedding for a while now. I’ve been looking at the mall, target, department stores and just can’t seem to find the dress that would be cute for pictures etc. So the other day I was inventory shopping and low and behold I found an adorable dress for Gracie. I think God saved it just for me because it’s perfect. It’s funny because all the dresses there were $4.00 each but I got to the counter and the lady only charged me $1. Isn’t that simply amazing?

I know it’s been a ridiculous amount of time since I’ve blogged but maybe I’ll try to post stuff more frequently. It’s been such a challenge figuring out how to run the business, home school and keep my house somewhat clean during the day. Anyway enough of the excuses. Yesterday James, Seth, the kids and I all went out and hit some yard sales. On our way home we saw one in our own neighborhood and although we didn’t have room in the car we stopped to see if there was anything we just couldn’t live without. Of course there was. We found this awesome, fun, amazing merry go round thingy that is so much fun. It’s even big enough for the big kids in our family. Here are some pictures to high light our fun day playing in the back yard. btw we got this awesome bargain for only $25. Isn’t that so cool?

This really is so much fun. Come and visit is so you can have fun too!

Asher all smiles

Jordan was so excited when Daddy and Uncle Seth got the merry go round up

I am so proud of myself. I was sitting on my computer when the kids were napping and this free ad popped up saying that she was giving some preschool abeka books away. I emailed her immediately and was able to set up a time to pick them up. I had to wake up my sleeping children but it was so worth it. When I got there she had TONS of other stuff she also gave me. I got a big fisher price doodle thing, flash cards, a set of my first dictionary, atlas and encyclopedia. She also gave me a cube shelf and a bunch of animal teaching resources. God really has blessed us in finding such great deals this school year. I told her that she really blessed us with the stuff and she was thrilled it was going to another homeschooling family. God really does care about the small details in our lives.

And that is exactly what I did this morning at Children’s Orchard. My friend Christina and I arrived at the front door at 9 am so we could be first in line. I am so glad I was because there were so many people in line by the time 10 am rolled around. I got the baby like 3 swim suits and some adorable sun dresses right when I got to her size bin.I can never really find anything for the boys in there but there were so many cute outfits for Gracie! It’s so much fun having a girl!! Also because of my facebook page, some of my friends also came out and we all stuffed our bags together. It’s so much more fun to stuff with friends.
It was nice leaving all the kids with James so I could really dig for stuff out of the bins. I was able to stuff about 25 pieces of clothing for Gracie in that bag then I also stuffed some shirts that my friend found for her little boy. It wasn’t worth it for her to get her own bag so I rolled hers up and stuffed them in my bag. I might not have a lot of talents but man I can roll and stuff some clothing into a little bag. That is definitely something to be proud of eh? Also this was Children’s Orchard’s last stuff your bags because they are closing down. The lady that owns it is pregnant with her 4th child and her oldest is 3. She obviously has twins too and is very busy and wants to spend more time with her kids. If only I could buy that place!
