So the competition began with 3 other bands competing before 12 Left. Each band was judged on crowd drawl, musically and stage presence. Thanks to all of you guys, we had 58 come out and support twelve Left. Man whoever missed this show missed alot. You guys rocked the house!! Here is a note from the band:
We just got back from Murray Hill Theatre where we had the most fun ever! It was a night of amazing music for sure. We are super excited about WINNING the first round of King of the Hill!! We will be playing in Oct. or Nov. in the next stage of the competition. We will keep you updated, so you can all come out again. Our audience played a huge part in our win tonight…so thank you!!!
You guys were really the best audience ever and we could feel your energy and support up on the stage. It was awesome to see people worshipping GOD during the song “Hands Outstretched”. God gets all the glory tonight for this win. We were praying hard to make it through….so we were super stoked to actually win!!
Murray Hill Theatre is am amazing place and we are blessed to have it in our community. Please continue to support Murray Hill by coming out to the shows and buying great food and drinks in the cafe.
You guys were a blessing tonight and we hope you had as much fun as we did. As always….please keep us in your prayers.

Alright people don’t forget tonight is the night that 12 Left goes head to head with 3 other bands at Murray Hill. It all starts at 8 pm and 12 Left plays last. Also don’t forget to stay for the results. This is only the first round so if they make it past tonight they advance to the next round. Come and support the band! If you can’t make it I will keep you posted on how the competition goes.
Asher’s Birthday Party

Due to weather we have cancelled Asher’s birthday party until next Friday evening. I hope that no one shows up tomorrow expecting a party. If you want to come and bring dinner for us that sounds awesome haha j/k!! I will text everyone letting them know exactly what time we are having it. Also 12 Left is going to be competing in king of the hill at Murray Hill Theatre the next day on the 30th and we need everyone that can come to be there. Part of the competition is how many people can come out and support them. We need you!!!!!
Home from Nashville

So we began our long voyage to Nashville at 9 no 10 no 11 no wait Caleb left the keyboard at home we left at 12 pm to drive the 9 hour drive to Nashville, Tennessee. It was quite a trip to say the least. On our way out we had to stop at walgreens because Michele was as sick as she could be. We prayed and were off to head to band with a mission. We arrived at Thrify Inn at about 9 pm Tennessee time and prayed that Michele would be able to sing the next morning. We had a small problem though. We left the keyboard stand in Jacksonville and for some reason could not find one to purchase before the performance. I did find this odd since Tennessee is the music capital of the world. We decided to “borrow” the ironing board from thrifty inn for our keyboard stand with hopes to borrow someone else’s keyboard stand once we arrived. So wih ironing board and press kit in hand we were off to band with a mission. We were the first band to get there so we unloaded and were picked to do our set first. They also didn’t have a sound check but did the best they could. They performed Heart of Stone (their newest song), Sealed, and hands outstretched. After finishing they received a couple of assessments. They received an 8 out of 10 for overall performance then had individual assessments. After that we stayed for a few bands then headed out to the mall for some serious shopping. It’s so much fun to shop with no money haha. Anyway it was fun! 12 Left is leaving tomorrow to head to Nashville Tennessee to enter a competition in the battle of the bands with an organization called band with a mission. They will compete against about 100 other bands and if they are good enough they will get a call back to come again in November. They will also be performing in front of record labels during the competition. Jordan and I are also traveling with the band so pray for all of our safety as we head out to Nashville. 12 left also has a battle of the bands competition here at Murray Hill on August 30th and we need YOU. Part of the competition is how many people we can bring in with us. We need your help so they can win that part of the competition. The first round they are up against some tough competition so they need all the help they can get. Also I am leaving my little baby again and that’s the hardest part of going away to something like this. I’m sure he’ll be well taken care of by his Kuya Joshua and Ate’ Jazmyn. Thanks guys for taking him for us.

Ok so this isn’t the greatest recording of 12 left but I love this song. (It’s my favorite) and I love when Caleb plays the violin at the end. That’s really the only reason that I’m posting it. Actually I’m still wondering how Caleb has such musical talent and I got none. But…God is soverign and I’m a much better shopper than him. Haha I have a talent he doesn’t have so there. Anyway so 12 Left came to our youth camp to do a concert and here they are:

I know James already graduated and all but I haven’t really had a chance to tell him how proud I am of him. James I am so proud of the steps you took to get your degree and worked so hard as you also had a job to keep up with. I am so happy for you and all the hard work you put into this to be able to furthur your career. It means alot to me that it was important to you to finish for me and the boys. You are such a great husband and father and I appreciate you so much! I am also so proud of what you and your band has been able to accomplish with the recording and want to encourage you to keep it up. I love you and I am so happy to be your wife.

Hey guys 12 left is now back doing stuff again! It’s really good because Bill (Michele’s husband) has a large tatoo of 12 left on his arm. So I’m glad they’re finally going to live out his dream haha. Anyway I’m so glad they’re doing something too because I’ve always told James and the rest of the band they need to get back out there and do something again. I love going to and hearing their concerts. Their lyrics are so awesome too. Here’s your chance, this Saturday at Murray Hill 12 left will be in concert @ 8 pm. It’s $8 at the door so come and support them! We also have some new t-shirts for you to buy. Invite your friends and come! He’re a video of them at Flagler beach a couple of weekends ago. It’s outside so the acoustics probably sound kinda weird but take a listen. This is their song “Sealed”. ps I did the video recording so it’s a little bouncy haha
