A Note to Gracie

We had so many friends come and visit us at the hospital when Gracie was born and it meant alot to have so many people come and welcome her into the world. We were supposed to be discharged around 12 pm but because of the tests Gracie was going through for her heart we weren’t discharged until about 4:00 the Saturday after Gracie was born. I am glad we were late because a very precious friend came and brought Gracie an adorable outfit and a sweet note. I have gotten permission to post this note and it’s from Mrs. Sally and Mr. Jim Hargrove. Thank you for sharing such sweet words with our baby.

Dear Baby Grace,

 Happy Birthday! We have been praying for your Mommy since she was pregnant with you. Now that you are home we hope your daddy will hug you alot and take you for long walks and tell you what’s on his heart. Listen to him because he loves you very much! Your brothers will take care of you and protect you. They will love you always. Your mom carried you next to her heart for the last nine months. She will carry you there for the rest of her life and yours. She and your daddy are wise. Listen to them and obey what they tell you. Jim and I love you too and will promise to lift you in our prayers and ask God to protect you always. We are glad that you are here bringing  joy to all those who love you.
